My Story
It was February 1970, just before the first Earth Day, and my Algebra I teacher assigned the Time Magazine cover story on environmental concerns, rather than the typical math homework. I decided early on to be an environmental attorney and had a rewarding career.
While practicing law, I thought about writing a novel. I was influenced by an English elective called The American Hero where we read books like Jack Kerouac’s On the Road. When I retired, I put pen to paper. The Unconventional Guide to Joseph Fine is my debut novel. My goal was to write something engaging and enlightening.
After the novel, I turned to recording music that had been in my head for a long time.
